A History of Success

After graduating from law school, Chris joined Duffus & Associates, a large personal injury firm in Greenville, North Carolina. From 1998 to 1999, Chris managed the Duffus & Associates office in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In 1999, Chris returned to Durham and joined with John Padilla to open Hyland + Padilla, PLLC. He is a current member, and former President of the Durham County Bar Association, and is the winner of the 2008 Durham Jaycees Distinguished Service Award.
